No one here is going to be able to tell you what's wrong no matter what they all say.In my opinion your tuner has taken the responsible approach to the valve spring issue they may of found by keeping your boost and power down in order for the car to be safe.

Just a car with the same mods as you pull 284rwkw and the springs were clearly failing at top end... the car was a manual also

Come to think of it, mine has had the odd dodgy idle after a good flogging... but always only if I reved it over 5500
