value springs

:crybaby:

Chris, the only people who can answer your question are tuners that have looked at the car. No one here is going to be able to tell you what's wrong no matter what they all say.

In my opinion your tuner has taken the responsible approach to the valve spring issue they may of found by keeping your boost and power down in order for the car to be safe.

who tuned it?

I think it may have been one of there first xr6ts but I know they are very good with ls1 tunes and with no probs I had on the day, would prob ly be very good turbo tuners as well

what mob was it??

Its very possible that the springs are letting go... Just a car with the same mods as you pull 284rwkw and the springs were clearly failing at top end... the car was a manual also :crybaby:

Well I reckon if your keen for over 300kws anyway do the springs now as you'll need to do them anyway.

Come to think of it, mine has had the odd dodgy idle after a good flogging... but always only if I reved it over 5500
