it's obviously all good now - how long you had it done for?

I'd have to agree with deano......

Your band is slipping on the drum with the extra torque of the CAPA box.

You're going to have to mod your trans to cope with the additional power to get good reliability.... It's NO good just getting the stock band replaced, as it will go again.

You're obviously an enthusiast, so get the job done properly if you want to get the best out of your T. Continue with slippng band, and you WILL score the drum as well..... even more cost.

hi tom - I see you're an adelaide man - any suggestions for trans upgrade workshop? (assuming you have experience)

WHY are you WAISTING the dealers time trying to get him to fix your box when its not their problem. You have already got them to change the torque converter plus wasted their time for absolutely nothing. Flashing tunes back to stock and trying to get them to rectify a problem you created on a performance tune. Come on!

Once you mod your engine this does not become their problem. It is NOW YOUR PROBLEM. If you dont know what you are doing then go consult a professional trans speciallist and pay the dollars to get a solution like most people do. Would you like someone to do the same thing you are doing to Ford to do to your own business.

so its not slipping on the factory map in just D??

is it just slipping in PERF in 2nd???

as I had a similar problem when my car was stock and the car would drive normal in D and drive like normal but when I had it in PERF it keep missing 2nd gear and slipping took it to ford and they told me

it was just a burnt out wire from the trans to the ECU and the ECU didnt no what was gonig on. they replace it and all was good still gonig strong now even with the edit. but strongly agree with the other just get it upgraded with stronger parts as it will saving you money in the long run anyway.

turbotwat - I'm TRYING to get some CONSTRUCTIVE feedback HERE - obvioulsy that DOESN'T apply to you so shut the hell up and get OFF my post IF you've got nothing better TO offer (I'M GLAD YOU'RE CAPS LOCK WORKS FOR YOU)

thanks Black ThundeR - that's exactly my situation and so far I've haven't been so lucky - Ford can't find anything, tuner can't fix it and trans specialist isn't sure either - it's got them all baffled so far - this is why I'm here now and still researching my options of where to go and which experts to consult - I've had at least one good PM with info on specialists to follow up
