Me, I'm all happy about the FPV MkII, cos I'm a selfish bastard.

1) No change to power

2) No change to externals bar the differently coloured foglight surrounds on the F6, which I dont like anyway.

3) Those new machined-face F6 19s are hawt, and I shall own them.

4) They dont make Mercury Silver anymore.

5) A combination of 3) & 4) is destined to be, and aint coming out of the factory

Not to mention that my bro will be stoked to know that Ford havent changed anything with his BF GT either.

Jeez I wonder what the price of these cars will be. With the Force 8 it seems they have basically built a GT then stripped out the interior and put similar looking red seats to the g220 in it. They have also fitted the fairlane/g220 chrome mirrors, stuck the ghia rear number plate garnish on and wacked on a new crappy looking Force 8 badge with a miniwing (bobtail). What is the point of this model??!!

I like the F6's new twistie 19's, but FPV have really let every potential new owner down by doing Sweet F U C K All with the new models.

I bet it only cost a case of beer to design the new models. The Force 6&8 are just a mixa from the parts bins and the rest of the range get new wheels....BIG DEAL.

Oh and thanks FPV for making no changes as it retains the value of my BF as you have DONE NOTHING....AGAIN

With Ford America's appalling losses, I'll bet Ford Australia were given SFA money to do the BF II update. There can be no other explanation for offering such trivial changes to the BF I in the face of plummeting sales and tough competition from Aurion and VE. I'm sure Ford Oz would have offered a more substanstial upgrade if they could. The other option is they are morons and genuinely believe the car didn't even need an update and people are oblivious to the competition and love the fact the car looks the same after 4 years.
