I know its a long way off but I would like to plan for this event early so we can organise a variety of activities for everyone to be involved with for some fun and relaxation in the sun as a get together before XMAS.

The venue I have picked is a great location right next to the Canning River with a nice big grassed areas complete with BBQ and Toilet facilities.

Sunday 10th December 10:00am

Activities of the day will include some backyard style cricket/soccer/footy, I am also booking the boat from work (at a cost) to use on the day with a ski-biscuit so anyone wishing to get themselves wet please let me know so I can work out a cost for everyone. There is a decent jetty at this location also so anyone else who has a boat and willing to launch it for the day can leave it safely at the jetty during lunch.

Plenty of notice for the day so it is open for ideas and more planning as we get closer to the date. I would like to know if anyone has some shade cloths/cabanna style covers to provide a bit of protection for the day...

What do you think guys n gals? Should be a top day :spoton:

Just over two weeks away folks, would I be able to get a showing of hands as to numbers attending? I also need to know who can rock up at about 9am to help setup shade tents and a suitable picnic area.

I am organising the ski biscuit and life jacket, so anyone who wants a turn can have a couple of laps of the bay... providing the boat is working :nono:

Who would be able to provide the following...

Shade tent(s)

Large Eskys

Softies

Cricket set/soccer ball/footy

Can anyone get hold of a large bottle of sunscreen?

Cooking utensils

Paper plates/cutlery

Also if you are bringing a platter of something post it up so everyone knows to bring something different.

I will bring some fresh salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, capsicum, onion etc) some bags of chips, and some bulk sausages.
