Cracked me drivers side fog light a few months back. Stone chip was the culprit and fair enough these things are bound to happen. Got a price from Ford back then of $120, and though that was fair enough, only to find that todays price is $181.12.

A few people ive heard of have had there fog lights replaced under warranty, saying that they are designed to be stone chip resistent and if they break then they must be faulty. But to hear I was up for this new BS $181 crap is beyond me.

And I also hear there simply made by Hella and I can get them for about $50 bucks from them, so what is Ford spares trying to pull!

Just me gripe me for the month.

Quite common thing to happen unfortunately. I cracked the drivers side light on my T (flogged it to the dealer on trade in that way) and did the passengers side light on the F6 a couple months back.

Maybe I'll get motivated to shell out for a replacement one of these days. The 3M covering is the way I'll be going when I do so.

Ive heard about the 3m covering, isnt it just a film that goes over the lamps.

I fortunately/unfortunately don't have to deal with this problem (no foglights to speak of).

I have always thought the holes would be good for brake ducts.
