It is amazing how one eyed you guys can get - maybe the video is biased but the fact remains that the XR8 has got nothing when it comes up against the VE SS. Performance is why we buy cars and if you want V8 performance - buy an SS.

I will not dispute the the xr6T is a good car but we are talking about the 8 cylinder variants.

Do yourselves a favour and go have an UNBIASED drive in one of these things and an xr8 back to back - only the ford obsessed would stay true.

And performance does exist outside of a straightline.

Handling, Ride and especially Long Trip Comfort all factor into it as much, if not more than poofteenths down a straight, flat piece of road.

You completely missed the point mate. The vid review (the subject of the thread, not XR8 vs SS) was a POS, wasnt even an XR8 in a number of the shots!!!!!

Audi TT looks nice, but a performance car it is NOT. Anyway where is the RS4. Of those 4 cars the VE GTS is my pick. I don't care what anyone says, the VE look sh*t hot except for the front flares, too big. Still bought an F6 though.
