Steering Wheel Upgrade – Is It Worth It…

I got the Momo wheel on my car with the grey inserts, if I had have seen the picture of the Sports one before ordering the car I probably would have gone for that. As for the comment about the standard wheel being sent back to the factory, my standard wheel and knob were in a box in the boot of the car and I got to keep them. They dont reduce the price of the car when you remove the standard accessories so you have essentially paid for them anyway, well that's my understanding.

I couldn't find enough info on this matter when I ordered my car and decided it was all too hard (and expensive!) and left the standard one on. I asked the salesman at the Ford dealer about it and he knew less than me about them - told me you could only get a MOMO or standard, said the sports wheel was the MOMO. When I told him there were two steering wheels available as an option on Ford website, one for $695 and one for $795 he still insisted that one was standard and one was MOMO.
