If your referring to WSID - it was an ordinary night - packed to the hilt - 3 runs only.

Track was super sticky. More so than I expected so I was running too low PSI in my MTs and may have been causing my converter to slip more. Just speculating as conditions were perfect and I cant figure where the mph went!

Ended with a best of 11.5. Mph was down to 115 - so pretty disappointing all around.

I think Jeffs mph was down by about 5 as well on his usual, so maybe something was in the air??

So much for me just going out to watch

A friend of mine was there with her kids so I got a babysitter and thought I would have a run with the boys and I wanted to do a comparison between std and what the Hpf edit which I picked up 12 rwklw would do and my son wanted to see me do a burnout aswell :kissmy: ,So full tank of fuel an arrangement of kids crap through out the car I went off to sucrutineering and weighed the GT in at 1930kg with 40 psi in the tyres

1st run was 13.5@103mph 2.1 60 ft down 5 mph

2nd run broke traction gave up ran a 16.5

3rd was burnout for my boy didnt launch it to hard ran 13.7@108mph 2.1 60ft

Final run I put my car back to stock program ran a 14.0@104mph 2.1 60 ft

Previously run a 13.3 at WSID and heathcote

Results were a bit all over the shop why I dont know :nono: but im very happy about how good the Edit does work on a V8 I know its not as impressive time wise as what the T's are getting but for just a 12 rwklw gain to drop .7 of a sec is pleasing, hope I did'nt put you to sleep :nono:

CYA JEFF

So Jeff, only mod your running is edit and you picked up .7 on the quater, that's not bad going for just some tune work.

13.3 is a quick car whichever way you look at it

......right that's my good turn for the day

That's pretty good.

.7 on a N/A v8 from just a tune is probably comparable to alot of T's.

I think I ran low 13's with just an edit tune in the early days too..

Piks of the burnout??

The mph difference shows the minimul gains in peak power.

But the ET shows there must be quite alot of gain in the low to midrange power/torque.

Nice

G'day Tony mate the car ran 236 rwklw with a SS cai which may have added 3-4 rwklw and a cat back exhaust which I didnt noitce and difference in power and is very debatable wheather or not I could have lost power and was only fitted for looks and sound but 236 is about spot on for a 290 GT some I have seen 230 to 242 rwklw, there's more than just power its the driveability with things like idle speed, upping the rev limiter, thermo's coming on earlier keeping the car cooler and most important the firming up of the auto
