Twin Gauge Pod Holder /fpv

Hi guys ive got a problem I bought a FPV pod holder origonal for the xr off ebay and im still FU####$%ckN waiting for it , its been a bit over a month and I know I wont get it now... So now im asking if any1 has any contacts through ford or has a fpv who can purchase it for me...ive got the gauges and the silver rings that go around the gauges all I need is the mounting and the two cannons which the 2 gauges fit into...

Sorry about the long post but if any1 can help me that will be great as I live in the westernt suburbs of melbourne..

go down to your local ford dealer and get a vin number from a phoon, and see if they will sell em to ya.

Its really about how much you want to pay.. they do come up on ebay every now and then but sell for like $300 - $400 with no gauges..

the vin can work but depends how the dealers is sometimes they want reasons and proof that you one is broken.. I had a dealer ask me for a police report cause if it was taken. so just all about luck!

The Vin number needs to listed on the Ford computer as retailed. So taking one off a car in car yard can be knocked back if the dealer checks.

When you brought it off ebay, did you get the postage insured? or registered? If you did, Aussie post can track down where your parcel is or if it has been posted at all.

Also contact ebay asap, let them know that you haven't received your item. Demand a refund from the seller.

I have reported it to ebay and they are going 2 pay me back most of the money I think 70% of it, but for the seller he has disapered from the face of the earth... but s.h.I.t happenes

firstly I should have clarified it a bit better, go find a phoon in a second hand yard, or get one of carsales pretend you want to buy the car, go see it take the vin, you have the persons name and address and hey presto, you got yourself guage holders. Not to hard when you think about it.

Secondly ebay sucks arse as there are way to many dogey ppl on it pulling scams, I tend to only want to purchase big ticket items if they are available for local pickup, and its strage when you get the reply from some1 that they dont want you to pick the item up of them.

that happened to me when I tried to get one... I got the vin and sido but didnt know guys name.. lol funny as..

speak to darren from ferntree gully auto salvage. he can get them for $250 minus the guages. good price.. imo.
