Well done Kev for a very enjoyable and educational day! I commend your skid pan driving course to others. I've never before knew what it was like to spin and skid in-control (sort of ) but at least I've learnt some potentially life-saving skills and had fun doing it with some good mates. And finally, but not least, congratulations on the drivers because it was Kev's first All-Australian car club skid pan day - FordXR6Turbo.com And thanks to each of the drivers for "encouraging" each of us on. Flukey who we observed had a closet hatred of witches hats (how many was that? - last count 4 or 5 with one still sore from being dragged under your car Goldbullet who hardly got to drove his car because the instructor Kev would not let him have the wheel back because HE was having too much fun driving it TUFXR6T otherwise known as "skidpan-freak" (who took to the skid pan like a duck to water and did 2 full sliding laps - or was that only 1 1/2 ). shockF6 who kept complaining that some ring or another kept sliding off his exhaust (yeah as if that makes up for what we observed on the skid pan shock ) PozzE who took it slow and easy at first and then built into a crescendo of cold aggression as he started spraying water from his sliding rear end at the other drivers on the hill waiting their turn Thanks guys, it was a great day and in all seriousness, I reckon we all learnt how to control our cars better by the end of the day Great pics Kev.
