Hi guys, been having a problem with the T missing and surging down the strip.It happens about 2 thirds down and does it every time.I have had the valve springs done so that wont be the problem. I thought it might be the fuel pump (which it sounds like) but every one I suggest it to reckons it wouldnt be. I have had it on the dyno to try and find out but nothing shows up. Would be grateful if somebody can help out.

how much fuel do you have on board,as sometimes if the fuel is relatively low,this can happen

How much fuel are you running down the track with and what mods you got done?

He had a full tank to aid traction!

have you been running it with low fuel down the strip?

Yep mine is a bas*ard with under 1/2 tank the swirl pot in these some of these cars can,t keep up,and the faster you get the more fuel you need or get a surge tank fitted

if the fuel in your tank is lower than the top of the intank pump housing then you are probably running out of fuel in the "slosh tank". Try sticking to more than 1/2 a tank in your car when running WOT for long periods of time.

another option is to install a surge tank under the bonnet

Mods: IC, valve springs, CAI, Injectors, Flasher and no Cat.
