Still rather pay the service costs than the repair bill. Mines on the way out for the second time. Was going to check the fluid level hoping that it's low fluid,some how I don't think so

I would say your warranty would be ok unless something went wrong with your car that the K&N could have contributed to, then I suppose they would try and get out off it. As for power I did the same times down the 1/4 with my K&N and my factory filter. But hey the sucky moto sounds better.

I had a new exhaust put on and the gearbox recoed about the same time. The flex plate could be the problem or I heard that the torque converter can vibrate and sometimes needs to be shifted around one hole.

It's an auto. I have a pit in the garage and have been under the car when it was idling and had my hand on the engine cross member and gearbox cross member and no vibration on them at all. Soon as I put my hand on the engine I can feel a vibration which transfers to the body of the car. I would think if it was a busted mount on the engine or gear box you would feel it through the cross member. Also there is no rattle or noise just a vibration.

Hi guys, I have an annoying vibration when I am idling, but as soon as I rev the engine it goes away. I also have the same problem when I am cruising but as soon as I accelerate over the 100ks on a private road it goes away also. I am leaning towards the exhaust but have had a look underneath and can't see it hitting anywhere. Would appreciate any suggestions on what it may be so I can check it out. Cheers Bill

Have you had the car lowered? I have the same problem and I have lowered mine and heard when your car is lowered it can cause vibrations.

Don't worry until it start's thumping between gear changes. It could be anything

Does it do it when the oil is cold.? Mine done the same thing when I took it around the track and over heated it.When it cooled down went back to normal, but 6 months later new gearbox.

Mine is doing the same only I have it when it is idling as well. Bought a set of coli packs on Ebay so will try them when they arrive.Also when I rev the car (in park) to say around 1500-2000 revs it has an intermitant (spelling) miss Will let you know how I get on.

Mine had the exact same symptoms. Eventually went into limp mode and that was it. New gearbox
