/07/06 10:37 AM15/07/06 10:37 AM #11 How hard is it to take the throttle body off without damaging the gasket? Or would it be better to have a spare gasket on hand just in case?
/07/06 09:46 AM17/07/06 09:46 AM #13 Thanks. Sounds like the trickiest bit is not loosing the spring clips. I'm going to tackle this job real soon, for the first time as you can probably tell.Cheers
/07/06 11:48 AM18/07/06 11:48 AM #14 Make sure you use a decent amount of lubricant on the injector "o" rings (vaseline works a treat)....dont try and fit them dry as you will most likely split the "o" rings which will spell trouble when you start it up the first time ←Without sounding like a sicko perv, ky works better
/07/06 10:19 PM18/07/06 10:19 PM #15 You can't damage the Throttle Body gasket..←I beg to differ....Be careful.
/07/06 01:28 AM19/07/06 01:28 AM #16 So I just take out the stock ones and the 968's will be straight fit replacement?Nesh←Yes Nesh the 968 are a direct replacement and fit straight in. All up the job should take you approx 30-60 mins ←Really? Won't he require a custom tune after the larger injectors go in? I would have thought it'd run way too rich otherwise?
