Horrible Sh!t Vehicles

May have had a 15 year head start, but they basically only opened up air box's and changed badges for most of them. Thank god they were stupid enough to rest on their laurels. It's a bit of an insult to the public to assume that re-hashed over priced oil burning junk :nudie: would continue to sell in volume once some REAL performance cars turned up.

Beyond what the WHEELS and MOTOR magazines would have us believe, there isn't too many unopened STANDARD HSVs that can truly hold their heads up. I had the unfortunate experience of owning a Clubshort ONCE and I would never buy another thing from them after their NON WARRANTY on the piece of :spit: The only half decent Late model camira they ever made was the VL and that's only because they borrowed the RB30 fron Nissan.

There must be some nervous management at GM. I wonder if the top dogs will do the usual Aus corporate thing and award themself a multi million dollar NON PERFORMANCE bonus before they slink off into the sunset to dream of days gone by, when they could convince the public to pay top dollar for poo.

I think GMH and FPV are going to be in it even deeper when the VE turns up  Too little too late.

Thank god for blokes like flinty and Gorman.

Go Ford and FPV :spoton:

that's all very good buying them and being no 1 in sales. About time.

I hope we can be reading this again in 3 or so years and STILL be proud that we have bought these cars and they hold REAL value when we go to update and NOT be insulted by the FOMOCO salespeople with all their usual BULL****.

Excuse's after excuse's and PUSH the bloody value down by offering so many thousand's of dollars of extra's free of charge on run out models.

Just shows then how much they are over priced in the first instance.

Lets see if theses FPV's hold value like the opposition counterpart.

I got bitten by every dearlership when I went to trade, sold it privately and picked up $25000.00 on the deal.

A good days work so to speak!!!!!!!!!!!

If you think this is crap there is only one person im fooling and that's ME.

So I think not. Just 2 happy people. :)

To be fair,HSV were smart and bougth back all police pursuit vehicles, so they could resell them slowely, along with other trics of the trade they were generally better in the resale value than Ford.

Ford blood, now let ford work on better servicing and resale.
