Ute Tents

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knew of a company making tents for the back of utes.

Was looking for something that will cover all of the tub area for when I go camping.

Preferably a tent that will fit "without" a hardlid.

Does anyone one here have one ?

If so, a picture would be great !!!

I see your in melbourne, I know at work we modify a lot of tray bodies to suit a sliding canvas canopy. The name of the company that does this is called Allen Jim and Son. They are in Moorabbin VIC call em on 9555 3747. I know they do a sliding canopy for my trays so I cant imagine why they wouldnt be able help you out with a removable canvas canopy or atleast point you in the right direction

UTE TENTS are specially designed for Trayback Utes. The model for the Table Top Utes (see above - fits all trays from 2200-2400mm long by 1700-1900mm wide). NOTE: These Tents are for Tray backs only, they do not fit Dual Cabs.

These Tents come in a compact pouch that will fit behind your Ute seat. They have a full built-in floor, so if you are setting up in a wet Ute the inside of the tent remains dry. There are four windows, each with a zip shutter and fly screens. The D shaped door also zips shut and also has it's own fly screen. When the weather is wet there is a fly cover to go over the whole structure (see above left), but when the weather is good the Tent can remain uncovered (above right).

I am going to purchase the bits I need to manufacture my own design.

Looking at something that will fit the styleside ute body.
