June 15, 200620 yr #1 Brothers got a BA XR6Turbo (2003 with a T5), fitted already with K&N air filter and SS Induction, soon to get the 2nd CAI under the headlight. We just picked up some of that fancy (and bloody expensive) Redline oil for the T5 too.Next up looking at the Hybrid Intercooler kit, Nizpro valve springs, exhaust (havn't decided what yet, prollyjust get a decent shop to make one up), and a new plenum chamber (waiting to hear back from Nizpro and Capa on the prices of theres out of the kits, otherwise weve found a bloke that makes a lot of them for Jap turbos and will talk to him about one).As you can probably gather were not interested in just getting a kit from one company, were wanting to do it our way, weather this'll be better or not well have to wait and see.Anyways, obviously once the rest of this gear is installed it's going to need a flash tune, and the petrol system will probably be straining. Now were willing to admit we don't know much about the fuel system. Told well need a rising rate fuel pressure regulator and better flowing pump, so I'm looking for recomendations for them (be great if can get one from either Bosch or Rocket Industries as we can get there gear for discount price). Also probably need higher flowing injectors, and weve been recomended to go with Bosch 440cc 968 units.Just hoping that anyone who has some idea and/or experience with this stuff can hopefully give us a hand with some advice and recomendations.
June 15, 200620 yr #2 With regard to injectors get Nizpro injectors... they are 750cc... so have plenty of headroom compared to the 440cc you have quoted... they are about $680 I think from memory.A lot of the boys here run a Walbro in-tank pump and they seem to be a wrap for them, so maybe try that.Anything near 300rwkw will have your T5 on very borrowed time... I have just replaced mine with a T56 with new clutch... be very careful.Good luck with it either way you go... where are you located?Jack
June 15, 200620 yr #3 Fit a Walbro in-tank pump and Bosch 968 injectors. Should be good for around 400rwkw.
June 15, 200620 yr #4 Fit a Walbro in-tank pump and Bosch 968 injectors. Should be good for around 400rwkw.←WHAT HE SAID!!!!!

June 15, 200620 yr #6 Author So who sells Walbro fuel pumps? Any idea on which one to get or do they only do one? Or do they do a particular one for the XR6T application?Cheers for the replies.I've started another thread with some questions on the gearbox if you guys can possiably enlighten me there!XR6T8_U, I'll see what pric the 968's are too me for work, and then based on the prices I guess we can make a better decision. So the fuel pressure regulator doesn't need to be touched? Just higher volume fuel pump and injectors?
June 15, 200620 yr #7 yeh, Walbaro pump will be fine, and cheap.either injectors will be good at the power you will be chasing. (Nizpro or b968's)the Nizpro ones are drilled standed ones., so they are exchanged.just run over half of a tank of fuel or you can get fuel surge(although this is at the higher end (300 +)will not need a new regulator, the standed one is fine.and have some fun with the easy power these things make
