Hey all

im looking at lowering my xr6 and I was wanting to know if anyone knows any good places in the melbourne area. prices would be great.

if I get the car lowered 2 inches all around how will the car go in relation to going over speed bumps and up driveways and into carparks etc? would it effect my insurance?

thanks

The tyre factory in Thomastown did mine for $320, King springs. Insurance depends on who you are with , I advide you tell them. Speed humps are okay but you will have to be careful were you park especially in car parks.

Suspension City in North Melbourne do it for $80 if you byo springs.

You get a price from them for a supply and fit.

I got SL's put in the back of my T for $220 at Tunehouse in Marrickville (formerly Autotech). Good service, clean workshop and most importantly a good job. Your bump stops will need to be trimmed for the SSL's.

thanks for that :)

I ll give them a call.

You dont 'need' to but it's advisable for even tyre wear.

If you lower an XR6T do you need to replace the shocks/struts aswell?
