Cause was over heating due to slow deflation with a nail, well that's what bridgestone said anyway, but I never saw the nail... (Cheers to F6 Tornado for orgainsing these for me and putting me onto them )These tyres STICK LIKE GLUE. I think I got a quote of around 480 incl fitting (for 2 only) in SA.. I cant wait to piss these Maxxis off - they have never been able to hold the power of my car. I wouldn't write off the brand, when the reason for the tyre failure is, as you said, unclear.PS Interesting thread - I think the Dunlops are rubbish, especially in the wet, and can't wait to replace them! Seems that the Advans are the way to go at the moment?
