Got price for super lows from local sus shop, he claims that I need to replace shocks as well with these's springs. Quote was $770 fitted with wheel align. Am I gettin ripped off?

Mate give Wilkenson Suspension Centre a call! I got my Kings SL and SSL suplied and fitted with a wheel alignment for $400. My shocks are still fine and the springs have been in for 30000kms and shocks have done a total of 70000kms!

They need the car for about 2 hours, so next time you are in Perth it might be worth considering.

Yes you are getting ripped. It should be about 1/2 what they have quoted you.

Yeah, just got back from shop. Told the guy way too much, $400 and your'e on. He sez impossible to do for that, so I sez shove em up ye coit.

You should be able to buy 4 Kings coils for under $300. have a look on Ebay they might even be as low as $220 for the set.

One of the larger suspension places in Melbourne fits for just $80 as they do it in less than 1 hour.

Yes you are getting ripped. It should be about 1/2 what they have quoted you.

Hes not getting ripped off if he goes with the shocks aswell.. (which is what the quote is for)

Anyhow:

SL and SSL set will cost you $220 from just about any decent suspension shop.

Should cost no more than $140 to install them. (takes them less than 1.5 hours to do it)

hey it cost me $200 even in newcastle and I installed them then got a wheel alignment. its not that hard
