Just wondered if those of you who chose to have a lower grill found it simple enough to fit yourselves?

Easy as but it also depends what grill you are considering.

Oh, ok...what choices do I have? I've seen an after-market style as per eBay with no logos, & also a Ford part with 'XR' attached to centre?

What differences in fitment that you know of? (please)

Great choice of colour by the way... I thought you couldnt get limier than my car but ford managed it

The laser cut grills suited for the BA that fit more towards the front as opposed to the "Security grill" types are very easy to install. You simply pop out the black plastic strip, measure 10mm inwards from the angle of the plastic, line up the grill so you know where to make the holes (I just used a stanley knife, the plastic is easy to cut). Fit the plastic back in place and mark the hole where the screw will insert in the lower part of the bumper. Pop the black plastic again, drill the hole. refit grill, tighten screw into drilled hole and done.

The one's on EBAY come with step by step instructions anyway. Sure one will come out for the BF and it would be a similiar kinda deal.

As for the BF, good question.......What does the Ford Dealers offer, don't think I've seen one yet.

Yeah, I also had Cirtic Acid BA before trading to new BF Toxic....don't mind the loud stuff like yourself...no chance of losing 'em in the shopping centre carparks!

Fairly easy, but make sure you get the right grill, mk1 and mk2 are different sizes. Just ask Angel3.
