  1. Thanks for your responses....ended up having it replaced (just over 4000kms on the clock) today. 15000 just seems so far away, although it will be only a matter of months due to work kms. Cheers BP
  2. Thanks for your tolerance 'stang' (for not being a grumpy one) BP
  3. Hi people Have the new BF T booked in at Ford for complimentary 3000 service Friday....I seem to recall (but can't find!) a thread with suggestions on oil change early on? The oil change is not part of Ford's 3000 service schedule, as they say it is too early, but your thoughts much appreciated. Cheers BP
  4. BTW, anyone with an iPod, I can recommend the Griffin 'RoadTrip' accessory...it plugs into cigarette lighter outlet, securely holds player, charges Ipod & uses an FM transmitter you adjust to same frequency as in-vehicle radio and, voila, iPod tunes thru the car's speakers....now, just have to get rid of that whine/interference from what I assume is engine revs (happened same in previous non-turbo XR6 too) Cheers BP
  5. Ok people's, so just how does one get rid of the whine, when using an mp3 player such as my iPod? Is there some sort of filter you have to wire in maybe? Thanks in advance BP
  6. Beg to differ XRSEX.........that little puppy will never look 'good' I am afraid!
  7. G'day Muncher! (won't ask where that comes from!) Welcome to the forum.....I'm only a newbie as well, with no plans to mod the T (work car), but there are certainly some interesting & helpful topics/members on here....enjoy the T! BP
  8. What an absolute toss!!?? BP

Good job Paul! I shoulda been there! BP
  11. Thanks guys...I don't mind that blue...never heard of it before, that's all? BP
  12. Hey Phevor Why not consider the red 'Turbo' stickers available thru this site? They are modest and not overdone. BP
  13. Ok Shermanator2....hows about a few photos?
  14. hey guys...what the heck is 'Narooma Blue'? Any pics? BP
  15. Bad luck Worpor I wouldn't trust the service dept at Ford as far as I could throw the b*stards matey...a relative of mine has worked there off & on for over 20 years (in admin), and the dealer principals just cannot / will not pay decent money to keep decent mechanics! Turnover is so high in the local dealer that on the rare occasions I take the car in (scheduled services, etc), I go over it with a fine tooth comb to look for c#ckups. My T was brand new in Dec 05 and I have found 2 x rubberbands in the engine bay so far.....don't ask me what they were there for in the first place, but pre-delivery must be non-existent! Enjoy the car anyway mate...pity Ford's service doesn't match up to the design of the T! BP
