Good Service For Warranty

Yeah you read right

Put a post on some time ago bout a particular ford service department that stuffed me around.

I decided to take the T for some work (brake shudder, seaping diff, diff wine, sub crackle, rear bumper buldge, rough idle and a dodgy lhs door seal) at the same place.

Well I was very supprised when I picked it up. Originaly the first time I wanted them to look at the diff was because of a diff whine. They originally put it down to tyre noise...Hmm yeah right. Well the service guy told me today that the diff is knackered and they had orded a replacement. So as you can imagine I was rather happy to hear this.

In regard to the bumper buldge when I dropped off they told me that they would pull it off and glue it back down. Again when I picked they told me that they were talking to ford bout getting a new bumper . My only concern here is them matching up the colour.

All the other stuff was fixed. Must say after the re-flash its now a lot smoother through the entire rev range. Ohh yeah the premo sound is a lot better with out the crackle....

So from now on I will be taking it back to Domineli Kirrawee

Good to hear they are actually some good dealers out there.

Didn't want to hijack the thread but thought it would be a good place to start asking the following.

I am about to pick up my new BF T from New Oak's in a couple of weeks, I live in the SE burbs of Melbourne, question is who are the better service departments to deal with around this area for service and warranty work?

Yeah I had good experience with my dealers yesterday, they fixed the trim back up the boot properly, did a very nice job at a front wheel alignment, they actually checked everything properly... I was impressed... (Gee that's rare from a Ford dealer)

BTW it was Ian out at Gregories who did the service...

I had my car in today for leaking radiator and damaged o-ring in the water pump, both fixed today under warranty, which runs out in only a couple of weeks...

Very happy with the service I have recieved from Freeway Ford in Cranbourne, Victoria.
