Don't confuse the GT or GT-P valve springs with the XR8 valve springs. They are different.

Strange.....Ford were quite happy to fit them to my car, and honour the parts and labour under warranty if the springs failed.

I think the "can't use GT/GT-P springs in the XR6 engine" is a myth, perpetrated by people trying to move other companies' products. I haven't had one Ford tech tell me they won't work.

Seem to remember someone fitting them a few years ago and the seats needed to be ground out for them to fit...probably wrong again :kissmy:

Also remeber reading something about the springs binding, could be just a myth though.

I also heard the BOSS290 valve springs 'weren't suitable' for the T. If HUSTLER's got them installed, I guess I heard wrong. However, The XR8 ones are slightly cheaper and are sufficient, so why pay the extra I guess?
