Guys,

I am curious to understand what power you may have achieved while essentially retaining the factory exhaust.

I would also like to understand what gains have been made with hi-flo cats, again with the factory exhaust.

I want to get another 25-30kw's and I am trying to undertsand if a hi-flo cat will get me there.

Thanks,

Luke.

I'm not to sure what the gain will be but I’m fitting a high-flow 3.5 inch CAT next week and retaining the rest of the system, this should give us a better a result on improvement as I will run before and after on the dyno, I’m also adding a intercooler so the result will also take this into account

Hey Flukey...

I believe AdamXR6T has an SMB dump and cat while retaining a factory exhaust and intercooler and he is making in the region of 285rwkw...

Is that the kind of no. you are looking for?

Hope this helps...

My previous T had the centre muffler replaced with mandrel bend pipes and hot dogs.

The car had 286RWKW.

I have the same mod but am 29kw's short of that

Luke, my old car was running 281rwkw's with centre muffler removed and gutted cat. With these mods I was still able to run standard valve springs as the backpresure wasn't an issue. My car was running 12.2@116 with Xede well before the edit came along. I'd think it would have gone alot quicker with the same mods with edit.

Geea.
