It is a joy to drive and gear box is getting smoother by the day. Had one incident yesterday when, going up steep incline (driveway ) in first..it stalled and when I restarted it, it was ticking over at about 800 and very lumpy. When I used accelerator it would't rev. just ticked over with no response. After freewheeling it back down driveway onto level ground (embarrasment!!!) I restarted and it was ok.Any ideas??John. Sounds like a stupid explination, but it's the one Ford gave me..Generally stopping and restarting fixes them.Might have been that. For whatever reason.Must have detected a fault (due to stalling) and needs a second or 2 to clear the fault..Maybe...
