Yes this does fix the volume problem and it's about the same as a cd.

I'm curious about the unit. How is it installed? Does it just plug in somewhere? I'm paranoid about Ford servicing apprentice hacking away and drilling holes in my console.

Included are very good instructions but for those who want to know before hand

Kit is in 2 pieces 1 box + 1 loom

3 plugs one end 1 is a piggy back for BLUE mobile phone jack. The other is for the AUX plug all behind fuse box.

In the middle small thin plug that goes in the box and a head phone ejack that goes in the bottom of the tissue box as it does on the old set up.

Anyone know what to do if the blug mobile phone power source is already being used by what it is for... a mobile phone car kit.

It seems that only one can be plugged in at a time.

You unplug the phone and plug it into the spare jack on the booster kit.

I think thats your answer....not sure with the way the questions being asked...and seeing as the answer is two post's above your's.....

Or are you wanting to plug 2 phone plugs in....or are we going down a completely different path and your talking about the POWER SOURCE ie: lighter socket...
