Non Performance Edit Mods

In regards to getting the Steering wheel controls to do other things, I've been thinking about that for a week or so. Using it to change gears is a top idea, that I had not thought of...

I was thinking along the lines of using those buttons to turn on "stealth" mods like xbox or even the blue bottle... but still being able to use them for factory functions as well, for those you find it too much hard wok to move their left arm the 30cm to the ICC controls...

Basically a box that can hijack the steering wheel controls to turn on/off whatever you plug into it... Now that I've gotten over Xmas (almost) I'll be looking at how hard it is to tap into the controls tomorrow.

How many people would be interested in a box that alows you to use your steering controls for other things?

I'll have a look at the circuit for the trans and see how har dit would be to change gears by remote, so to speak

Have you done anything with this? I would be interested to know if you would be able to hook the audio control buttons up to an aftermarket deck???????
