loaded for work, it still however didnt hit the bumpstops, the drive was rather interesting, trying to dodge every pot hole in the outer sydney. :spoton:

how much weight do you think is in the back?

380-450kgs, mine sits that low with about the same weight (10-12 BAGS OF C-MENT)

PS. my mud flaps are 20mm shorter than stock (no I didnt lower them, they ground off)

haha great guesses guys , I had a total of 20x40kg bags of sand, and 8x20 kg bags of cement=960kgs.. :wavey:

lucky I beefed up the leafs when I got it lowered :fool:

I wont be doing that in again in a hurry though :fool:

that's definetly on the bump stops mate, with the weight you had in the back you wouldn't have felt the difference. The bump stops are huge trianguler things so they are soft to start with then harden up. With that much wieght it would have easily squashed the bump stops without stopping the uptravel hard and fast.

My utes lowered the same as every other superlow ute, and there is only 10-20mm of up travel to the tip of the bump stop and I hit them on big bumps regularly, especially at 100kmh, and its hits hard when its empty!
