Agggh -help Needed Please

Bugger - pulled the ICC forward an inch to get some wiring down for boost gauge - and put it all back together - reattched the earth on the battery -and now my ICC doenst go at all!

What have I done?

Is there a reset - or am I likely to have pulled the plug off the back of the ICC?

Damn near sh*t myself when it didnt start - havnt even connected anything yet!

Please help!

Hrmm, I just did my boost + AFR gauge today, there is a small hole on the left hand side near the front, I wired everything down there to the glovebox, then routed it down the right hand side of the glovebox through a grommet in the firewall.

I can't get my AFR gauge to work, just sits on 2/3 bars red (lean). What have I done wrong? :(

I would remove the icc completely, finish your guage install project, then reinstall the icc. to remove the icc you disconnect antenna connector. Disconnect the 4

connectors under the body computer starting from Drivers side, working towards the passenger side. The connector closest to passenger must be removed last or you may hear relay chattering. If the vehicle is fitted with satellite navigation a 5th connector must also be disconnected.

The socket in the dash at the rear of the ICC need to be 'reset'..

What colour wire did you connect to on the o2 sensor

I have'nt hooked mine up yet, but I'm pretty sure it goes to the pale grey on the loom side of the connecting plug.

Yours is Cobalt series yeh?

Does the blue ring light up when illuminated?, because mine only lights up the writing in the middle, yet the Autometer website shows the ring with Lean, Stoich and Rich also lighting up.

ICC is all go again. I just pulled the unit forward and pushed back on - mustnt have been located correctly. Phew!

The O2 sensor - is that in the engine bay just below the heat shielding over the turbo - has about 4 wires coming off it? or is there another unit further down the exhaust? Also - are we going with the pale grey wire after the connector (if this is the right one)?

All the above is correct, on the o2 sensor side of the connector, that pale grey will be black

Well - gauges are all connected up and going, boost is good, mixture is a bit weird:

With your foot right down it displays rich. With foot off, slowing down it displays lean, but if you are driving along the gauge looks like something from the Nightrider (flashes left to right ie lean to rich) and the faster you go (more revs) the faster it seems to flash back and forth.

So.... WTF? surely they arnt suppose to be like this? I expected at constant revs the mixture gauge would read a constant reading?

Any ideas? Anybody else using Autometre Mixture gauge?

I think that is normal, in a loop system. to obtain a 14.7 stoich figure it flicks between rich and lean at cruising to obtain the stoich. Correct me if im wrong.
