For all you syd guys, if you are interested in a 4" dump/SMB 4" cat combo best mufflers is about to release their 4" dump which was measured up on my car a couple weeks back. I am also running the 4" cat and highly recommend it, as it is an awsome cat. Just for comparitive purposes, my car is running 303rwkw at the moment (chipped rather then edited), and ill post up some info on the results once I get the 4" pipe dynod.

Today I had my T re-tuned and Dynoed to the new 4" dump pipe and cat.

Basically I had Simon from Xtreme reduce my boost immediately after getting it fitted, as my boost went 3-4 psi higher after the cat and dump pipe was fitted, and I was concerned about the potential for detonation :spoton:

Today we had my car on the dyno, and after less than an hour we have my auto T running 276.4 rwkw @ 15.5 psi, and with torque of about 792 Nm.

On road performance with the new Edit tune is phenomenal, gear changes are very quick and firm, to almost punishing in SSS mode, so in one word VERY HAPPY - Oh sorry, that was two :spoton:

I have attached Dyno graph with before and after fitting the 4" SMB gear.

Congrats on the new power. One question though, you said you were edited before is there any reason why you didn't have the auto shift pattern / firmness changed then?

Sorry if this was not quite clear

The previous version of Edit did tighten the change patterns, and made significant improvement over the standard version.

This latest version tightens the change patterns up even further, making shifts in fully automatic mode reasonably firm, but in sports mode and SSS mode this tightens progressively more and more, to a point where the delay in engaging 2nd and 3rd gears is virtually nil, and the feeling is like dropping the clutch quite hard in a manual.

Hope this explains it a bit better :stirthepot:

That's not too far from the difference between manual and automatic, as mine had 173rwkw stock, and most manuals I have seen ran around the 200rwkw standard.

Thanks for the explanation Ninka. I'll have to look into getting my flash tuner upgraded.

Oh and mine had 195rwkw standard running 95 ron pulp. Dyno Dynamics dyno.
