They may be a chineese core. I have been told they are no good and are bad quality! Hence the price is so cheap. I rather pay a little more for quality and piece of mind then something over Ebay!

how hard would it be to hook the standard piping upto it?? what would need to be done, just a few bends and bits of stainless pipe??

Not that hard, Bri Bri a member from this forum had the same IC but then changed the after market plumbing back to standard and still used the IC. So it can be done.
