Valve springs are a good idea - particularly if you would like to increase your rpm limit (only possible with edit... ) or for sustained high load - but not strictly necessary with a stage 1 mod.Good luck!! With warranty - strictly - either will void your drive train and engine warranty, but this will depend on your relationship with your dealer, and ability to revert to stock...Ben.
