Tomorrow's the day for the blue slip on my T. Can anyone tell me what the legal ride height is. Im a little concerned that it maybe knocked back cause it has been dropped. Some concelation will be the 19's under it, but I dont know if that'l be enough.

Cheers Trev

Ok I'll bite, we're goning to need where you are at least, I am sure its different state to state.

And theres prolly some BS that if you've modified a new car in anyway you need certification.

I could be wrong though?

Why do you need a blue slip?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I think blue slip means roadworthy cert.

FLASHXR has purchased PASHEN off dave and needs it transferred in his name im guessing.

It's all a pain in the butt really. Cause im changing state, the rego must be cancelled in Vic and the vehicle must be reregistered.

in nsw the car has to be at least 100mm from its lowest point, EG: exhaust, bodykits ect.

that's the one thing the RTA check when you go over the pits.

they make you drive over a concrete slab that's 100mm off the ground and see if anything scrapes.

I think theres something about minimum height of the headlights, but the BAs headlights arent exactly in the lowest point to start off with so unless you lowered it like 5" that shouldnt be a problem

goodluck with it

also you dont need to go to the rta to do a blueslip.

any mechanic with a blue sign out the front that says vehicle identification station will do one for you

these blueslips are basically the same as a pink slip but with the addition of 2 things which are chasis number check and engine number check.
