scenario reminds me of an incident I had in my Escort as a lad in Brissie

Trying to remember exactly but I think it was Daws Rd in Runcorn. Cruising down this particular rd when the bonnet pops up. Looks to rd shoulder , mmm no worries nice flat and grassy ..........wrong car at 45 degrees on its side in a nice freakin drainage ditch , had to get skull dragged out by a 4x4.

Damned council had mowed the grass in the ditch to exactly the same level as that either side, couldn't have told the difference

Locals were killing themselves laughing , as I was about the 5th car in the space of a week to suffer a similar fate.
