postie delivered a light little package this arvo.. I felt like a kid on christmas opening my presesnts cuz I knew wat was inside!!

OMG an edit :glad: , strait out to the garage, dropped the dash, uploaded the 10psi tune and went for a strap out the back roads.

when my ute was stock it used to come onto max boost around 3100rpm and hold its grunt till redline. it was a nice power-band.

The 10psi tune, the boost comes in ALOT later!! hits what feels like a "mid-boost" at around 3400 and then when its at about 4100 it really hits max boost and launches and then runs out of puff around 5900. then from 5900 onwards to the 6500 redline it just seems "pointless" revving it out that far I guess, it doesnt seem to haul ass as much as it did from 4-5 grand.

the turbo is alot more audible now!! you can hear it spooling up its sounds as does the GFB BOV.. sounds very viscious now instead of a wimpy sneeze :msm:

all in all im really happy with the power, a bit disapointed in the "generic tune" and how late the boost came in.. thought it would be completely the opposite actually.

the other tunes are "valet- P1" and "8psi P2".. P3 is obviosly the 10psi tune.

oh well that's my rant , definately can feel the weakness in the stock clutch now!! next month when I goto melb for custom tuning will be a whole new story :msm::spoton::nono:

Try the 8psi generic tune. Less frenetic and peaky but still a big improvement on factory tune.

it lit up the rears a few times tonight coming onto boost in 1st gear.. :spit:

the ute gets lowered tomorrow so hopefully it makes the back end a bit stiffer so it happens more often! hehe

You know you've had a custom tune when the traction breaks in higher gears. :spoton:
