I agree with SavageD. If option 3 was in ordinary shape then go option 2. Hit them up for mats, tint and headlight protectors as well. It costs them stuff all.

Good price for all the options. Just check to see if it has the clutch upgrade though.

Ford's fast-car division, Ford Performance Vehicles, does not have a direct rival for the HSV Senator. Despite having 290kW of power, the Ford V8 doesn't deliver the same acceleration as the other cars in this group. FPV does have a luxury version of the GT but it's not yet in the five-second club. That may change, however, when a new six-speed automatic is fitted to performance Falcons by the end of the year. And then, it will most likely to be the turbocharged six-cylinder (with 550Nm of torque) that will crack a low five-second 0-100kmh time. FPV is putting the finishing touches on the six-speed auto Typhoon and engineers are said to be grinning about the performance of the vehicle during testing.

Ooooh, I know what your going through. Tough choice there.

I just got an email from Ford announcing the BF Falcon to be released in October.

So now you have Option 4: get a BF F6 when its released in 6-8 weeks. You wont get as good a deal as the BA F6's though, especially since they'll want to get rid of them pretty bad.

Man, looking at your options, each has its definite merits.

Hmmm. I'd prolly go option 3 now that I think of it. Brembo, leather, satnav.

What are the colours? Are the new ones  showroom examples? I'd still go option 3: got ALL the good gear. still got low k's too for its age.

Yeah, apparently the new FPV gear willl be unveiled at the Syd Motor Show starting 14th Oct. I'm going to fly to Syd to have a look. Havent been to Syd for a while, should be fun.

I'm trying to drag my bro along, as he wants his bum sitting in a new GT by the end of the year. I just have to hold strong, and try not to get carried away when I'm there. I'm a big fan of FPV, and seeing all those lovely BF GTs and F6's will certainly quicken the pulse a bit.

Note to self... leave cheque book at home.

I was going to say option 3, but given what you said about the condition its in, I would have to say I would personally go option 4. it all depends on how much you value having brand new vs. nearly new, and how much money you have to spend. if you can afford it, I think the bf f6 will be f**king awesome with the 6sp auto, but if cash is tight I would say option 2

I must be a tight arse - I'd go option 2, definitely.

Why take the extra hit of depreciation on option 1.

What I would do is wait a month, then see what price option 2 is...
