August 21, 200521 yr #38 I ahve said this in another post but I will repeat here. Currently paying $1.80 for 95 RON here in Switzerland. Few weeks back paying about $2.60 in the UK. Petrol taxes are bad in Austalia but still much worse in other parts of the world.

Petrol taxes are bad in Austalia but still much worse in other parts of the world. This may be true but Switzerland and even England really are only the size of a postage stamp!A drive between towns here can be the distance between some national capital cities. Not to mention the fact that we have plentiful supplies of oil and natural gas in AUstralia Though not much 'Heavy' crude' we do have alot of light disel oil.Oh and as per topic, Ultimate is hovering around 125.9c/l near here, at Maclean.Lumpy
