Sorry to hear about the problems you are having mate!! I have been without my car for a week now as Ford is trying to fix an ongoing issue with the Climate Control in my car for a very long time now.

It has become obvious to me that they ("Ford, the dealerships and the technicians"), quote "nobody knows your Ford like we do", don’t have a f*cken clue as to what they are doing!

My approach to this is to demand a loan car, which I have. Don't lose any sleep over the car, which I am not. Finally, look for a replacement, which I am!

Good luck buddy! :spoton:

Sorry to hear mate..

If I were you id take the car back to ford with your dyno print out and tell them to fix it..

Persistance is the key and dont tolerate BS answers from them...

Warranty's are a beautiful thing so you might as well use it...

And if the same dealer is giving you :spoton: Just go to a different one..

turb,

I would take it to a place that does not have "factory trained technicians" that think they know your Ford and get them to fix it.

Take it to Spiro / C&V / MRT or anyone else you trust and get them to sort it out.

Then take the bill to your dealer and demand they pay it. Ford have been given more than enough time to fix the problem. You have the right to make good the repairs yourself and then make them pay for it. Speak to the NRMA (if u are a member) or the Depoartment of Fair Traiding. If Ford do not pay take them to the small claims court and mke sure you summons the CEO of Fod Oz and the dealer principal from the place trying to fix it.

It is not worth your stress waiting fo Ford to fix something they cannot becaue they cant, their service is a joke, take it to a real mechanic.

Well said ZAPXR6T.I have taken this approach myself and funny enough the next time I had a problem it was fixed in no time. It's not that they can't fix it,they just don't care about warranty work cause it's not easy money like a service is.Don't give up Brad, persitance beats resistance.

just an update

I got my car back on sat and is the same as I left it with them

dynoed it and is running a 158rwkw and 3.5psi boost

now ford has decided that the is no longer anything wrong with the car and 140-150 rwkw for a manual is within spec for the xr6t

so now I am left with a car that is f*cked

damn ford and there bullsh*t

my tuner is willing to fix it for me and thinks it is the cat ..so with warrenty I will still have to pay and if it ends up being the cat I wonder what it is going to look like hanging out of there arse

Don't take that crap from ford, go up the ladder and talk to the manger and if no luck his manger till they fix your car........

I have been down this road and it sucks but you have to bring the fear of god to these people at ford......

It works...
