If it is possible for the mods to please make this a sticky as I am sure we can get a big crowd from the forums.

We could look too meetup at one of the bars that are not busy so we can have room to talk and drink. :nono:

Friday night ?

Can anyone suggest such a place ?

The big bar behind the pits is too crowded and heaps of places are booked out for private functions. It would be nice to get 50+ people together  try to book a place ourselves ?

If you have been thinking about going this should be the time to say F'cuk it and do it as each year the CHAMP (Indy) cars come is a good thing as it is not a financially stable series.

Each year can be the last year :spoton:

It is also NOT a good idea to bring females as they can be offended by what goes on, its like schoolies for adult males :msm:

Welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, if people want a bar that's OK, but I may be able to organise a house in Broadbeach (right opposite the Casino and Convention centre) for at least a BBQ and some drinks (until the partying gets a bit loud) and then it's a quick Maxi-Taxi back to the bigger bars? Just an idea.

LP the only problem is most people would be at the track, so getting down to broady would be a PIA.

  • Just because it is, doesn't mean it should be.....

Shazzy, If you have been to Indy before then you know what to expect. You are more than welcome to come as is any female, but this is not a PC event as I am sure you can understand. :fool:

Just so it is clear that anyone who comes with a forum member is welcome, and if you are female and like to wear skimpy tight fitting cloths (lycra) you are MORE than welcome :fool::sick:
