I ended up paying $90 for my Typhoon cai, but they originally wanted $115.

I fitted mine on the weekend. Getting the Typhoon CAI is good for hassle free installation. And it looks original. for $86 it was well worth it in my books.

each to their own.. looks the same from the outside and 50% is a fair hike in price for no more functionality, imo. its the same as cutting the hole vs buying typhoon air box bottom, again, imo.

what price was your k+n in perth? you recommend anywhere to go?

just ordered the xr8 snorkel, was quoted 85$ for the typhoon 1, forget that!!

I got my KnN From Chris Mills and cost me $110 called a fair few places.. supercheap auto and auto-one were around 140 and coventrys was $194.. its much better than the vacuum bag one that ford sell with the car!
