Jack Brabham. Have got an autographed copy of Jacks book and got to speak to him at its release. You really have to read it to appreciate the true quality and dedication of the man and the amount of racing he did in his career. Without a doubt, the greatest, most successful, living driver in the world.2. The late "Big Pete" Geoghan. Simply brilliant and gifted.3. Rosco McGlashan. Big Kahoona's and still looking for that World record on a shoestring budget.4. Ken Warby. (Yes I know it was on water) Another example of what epitomises the successes of the likes of Brabham etc.5. Dale Ernhardt. Dead before his time but tasted all the success.6. Jochan Rindt. The original "Rainmeister"7. Jim Richards. Still on the pace and ever reliable.8. Mario Andretti. Drove everything, did well, stayed alive.9. Kevin Bartlett. A natural who had the raw talent.10. Me. At age 19 in my first drive of a Lynx Ford open wheeler around Amaroo park. It was a racing drivers school run by Jim Shepard. I had a rev limit of 4500 and I beat the best time of my group by about 4 seconds. What a buzz. Then SHMBO to be, got worried and put the hammer down on my racing dreams.

Posted 26/07/05 03:47 AM Posted 26/07/05 03:47 AM Craig Lowndes and Possum Bourne...Did the road closures out at the Rally of Canberra a few years back and to see Possum taking a corner (which I wouldn't have done more than about 50 or 60 around) about about 150KM/h summed it up for me, and this was on dirt... He was litterally only mm away from hitting the tree in the middle of the corner (there where tire tracks left showing just how close he got)...
jordak Member 1,226 Member For: 22y 3m 23d Posted 26/07/05 04:41 AM Posted 26/07/05 04:41 AM Senna for his skill, determination and balls and Alan Jones simply because he was the last to bring home the bacon for Aust. in F1..............and of course my wife 'cause when she drives it means I can get on the turps.

I think Valentino Rossi has proven to be one of the greatest in motorsport though as he has proven that he can win with two different teams. Not too many people have proven themselves after switching to a different race team and manufacturer.
