Powerchip's Reflashing

Firstly I want to say this is not an add and just an enquiry.

Had a look on the powerchip website and apparently they'll reflash the computer on xr6t's (270 95ron, 300 98ron) typhoons (302) & 4 cam v8's (260 - 280/6, 290 - 319) for $890, and the na 6 (182 - 194/8) for $690. Realise they are not custom tuned to the car, but wondered if anyone has any experience with this. The edit may still be worth the extra $800 for a custom tune, but I'm considering this.

Maybe someone can test it in the name of r&d and let us know

From memory, there was a member who had a powerchip installed and removed. It was not good.

I remember that but don't remember who it was. To be fair to to powerchip they may have improved, rember the first PWR intercoolers were but their current ones seem ok.

The CAPA edit at ~$1300 doesn't include custom tuning either...
