Was giving the T a tub on the weekend and came across our first car park ding on the rear passenger side door. :angryfire:

Jeez, and that's after just two short weeks of ownership, fair s&*ts me off I have to say! I take the utmost care opening my doors if somebody's parked close to me, and I really hate it when others can't be bothered returning this simple courtesy! :spoton:

Now am wondering whether it's worth spending the $80 or so to have one of these ding repairers come round to fix it up when, in all reality, it's probably just the first of many... :spoton:

sh*ts me to tears too when people couldnt give a stuff about other's cars. At least you got it out of the way early, the next one won't hurt so bad.... :spoton:

Its the way it is unfortunately, you can try to avoid it by parking at the far end of the carpark away from everybody, but you will always find a sh*tta partked right next to you when you return.

if it bugs you heaps fix it, otherwise fix it just before selling. thank god your car hasnt been egged like mine was (nice little half ring of tiny chips on a rear door).

And then there was the time some little fagggots put a big rock in the middle of the road on a corner and I nicely scraped the underside of my front spoiler.

I aways park far away next to a pole or at the end of the car park where only one car can park next to me and when I park I park as close as I can to the pole and get my kids to get out the other side ...sorry to hear of your dent

Yes, yes, it seems we've all had this experience, unfortunately. You're right, Trumpy, it does get less painful with each ding. By the time I got rid of our last car, it had quiite a collection of little dings, scratches, etc (and being black, they tended to stand out a bit more). :spoton:

xrturb, I try to do exactly the same with poles in car parks. Unfortunately for me, my wife's not quite as discerning, and it's her that has the car most of the time.

As for getting it fixed, well, it already had a bloody big scrape on the front right of the spoiler - being quite low down it's not so noticeable, but it is to me!

xlr8ed, how the hell are you able never to leave your car in a car park? Whilst that's the ideal solution, it's just not a practical one for me (the T is our only car, and short of leaving someone to stand guard by it all the time, when we go shopping, it has to live in a car park for a while! :spoton: ).
