May 26, 200521 yr #41 delphi also own rochester not the worlds best injector but imho much better and more reliable than lucas if you look they are available here for just over 100 eachthis is not to say that these lucas items were the same ones but they are at surplus prices???I have doubts on all these Rochester injectors as well Dynowog. All the tests I have done on the ones fitted to say the 300KW Holdens have flowed up to 10% variation plus spray patterns that where terrible. There is a few people selling these cheap ones but as suggested by Dynowog a good idea before fitting any of these thing is get them flowed in a flowbench.Make sure your tuner holds them wide open as here you will see what inherite problems occur.Another cycle is doing a Automatic test where running these injectors from 600rpm to 10000rpm as they all seem to have lazy return springs for some reason causeing flowrate inbalances.

May 26, 200521 yr #43 I contacted racetronix after reading this post a week & a ½ ago and received an email from Jack the same day.I then proceeded to ask some questions to which they don’t seem to want to answer apart from the line buy a set and try them. They since have not returned my emails at all.I gather from the lack of reply they don’t wish to get into the technical side of it and just want to take orders over the internet.. What you see is what you get. Take it or leave it!!!Needless to say I have not ordered any from them unless they can show some support for what they want to sell apart from buy a set and try them!I’m now leaning back towards the BOSH 968 even if it is 3 times the price.Go for the EV6 Type not the older EV1 type as these are.
May 26, 200521 yr #44 Steve. Please dont make the assumption I am bagging these things or whoever buys them as far as I am concerned I am just shareing information from exprience that I have had with these injectors.Every one has choices what they want to do and say, whatever your profession is if you are doing it every day you come across these sort of things. The injectors in question are the exactly the same as ones decribed before which I have found from testing they where not that good in overall proformance.Actually I was quite surprised anyone is still mucking around with them after all this time. The prince of Darkness bought these on the market when they did a deal with BMW and Range Rover years ago plus supplying there engine management systyms which totally backfired as they had all sorts of running problems.Speak to a BMW mechanic regarding these things or Range Rover or Jaguar technician and you will understand abit more what happened with them.As I suggested before get your tuner to flow these things on a flowbench before fitting them and say compare them to a EVO6 injector[bosch] and you will see straight away. But whatever you do tell them not to pull the micro filter basket out of the end as they are no longer available and if they fit a new basket it will block your inner inlet hole off.Again it is just what I have come across mate and shareing info. When I have a issue with my car I always can source some type of usfull info from this site.
