I use a few drops of dawn or palmolive washing liquid. works a treat!

I use Morning Fresh dishwashing detergent which seems to work great. I figure that it might have some crap in it but it is no worse than the crap that comes off the roads when it is raining. It is cheap as chips too! As for using a couple of drops, not this black duck, I use about a tablespoonful. It doesn't foam or leave any visible residue.

I used to use Dawn however, I found that her bre@sts were leaving streaks across the windscreen and she had troubles hanging on at high speeds.

YCL, the water coming out of my washer sprays is a torrent and instantaneous.... a bit like a peeing comp in an Asian *t1tty* bar..... but I digress....

My washers are great, they blast a heap of water on the screen, so I would say your previous car was NOT NORMAL...FORD.

The only issue I have with the washers are that after using them, I find it spits water up on the screen when cornering for the next 5 mins.

Oh and the F'ing wipers skip at any speed over 130km/h

Bars Bugs for me. No trouble with bird sh*t. Cleans anything off with just a couple of secs of wash and wipe. BUT my screen is always coated with Rain-X so it is very slippery and helps prevent any of that sticky sh!t like seagul crap hanging on.

Got to agree .... good that raine-X , last trip to Brissie tried the F3 at 130ks in the rain with no wipers amazing stuff

I use the RainX on the drivers and rear window.

I think I need to consider it for my wet weather track days as it is crazy that a car limited to 230km/h cannot drive in the wet above 130km/h.

I also used to use the bars bugs stuff and it did work a treat.

FWIW

Car Wash - the non waxing type.

It is cheap, it cuts through grime (well you know that) and doesn't cause rust (some even have rust inhibitors).
