April 16, 200521 yr #3 that's not good news about Rover.I guess it could have something to do with the fact that their cars S U C K I have not seen a possitive review of any recent models, I also had a Rover 75 for a week and I thought it was very average. Best thing was it had a TV.
April 16, 200521 yr #4 no more daiwoo,no more diahatsu and now no more mg rover just leaves more room for more fords on australian roads which is great.IanI think the local mg dealer must of known something because they have taken a couple of other brands in the last few months.
April 16, 200521 yr #5 If only it would mean that all those sh*t box MG 's would instantly dissapear of our roads.Sorry to those affected by job lossesScotty

April 16, 200521 yr #7 I used to own a Rover with a 3.5 litre V8. My old man gave it to me(one of his customers gave it to him) so I just used it to help out the trade in on the XF all those years ago. The Rover's V8 had a very nice sound to it, but it was still just a slug.......and that was with the Holley 350 carby conversion. It was a pretty comfy car too, I think they had koni's from the factory. Anyway, I'm glad they are gone now, along with MG. The Pom's don't seem to be having much luck with cars these days, I heard Jaguar is struggling to sell cars also.Rob
