Gday. Recently down in melbourne near glenferrie road and some low life bas*ard slote both my personalised plates and covered the car in f*ckin stickers for some nightclub. If anyone hears about them or anything, like trying to sell them, please post. Ive got some vic copper mates who wouldnt mind breaking out the phone book for some close quater counselling. And ill join in too.

Hope they catch the pricks mate! What happens if they dont turn up? Will insurance cover them or do you have to pay out of your own pocket because id imagine they wouldnt be cheap?

I can get them made for $40 ea without the NT down the side & with the proper reflective paint in any colour you like.

All you need to do is get NT stickers made for the side.

Can't you just get the RTA equivilent in the NT to re-issue you a new set?

Yeah the NT MVR are reissuing them for 50 bucks. I was pissed I had to pay at all. And it takes 8 weeks. They sent down some replacements a week after it happened, and before that, although I could drive the car legally without them because it still was registered, every copper that saw me pulled me up. Gets painful when you get stopped 3 times a day. And Russ, I didnt know you could use non genuine replacements. If I could get TURBOXR in blueprint I would be stoked! Ill look into it. If its legal in the nt, ill do it for sure.

Not if you use the correct reflective paint & get them made to exact size & are visible by speed/red light cameras.

The colours available are only the ones that can be ordered from the Transport Dept.

No, they are indeed illegal, I actually manufacture them, and although they look close on 100%, if a cop picks they are not genuine, your stung
