The G-Tech is accurate but you have to ensure that the road is perfectly level, the G-tech is mounted correctly and your car does not raise its nose under acceleration all of which would give a false reading.

Only one place to get an accurate reading mate

The G-techs are very accurate - it doesn't matter about the nose rising during accelleration as long as it is properly levelled at set-up. This is the hardest thing to control as they are very sensitive.

Also great for measuring lateral Gs if you want to do a control test on tyre grip when cornering ...

What results did you get?

We've got a g-tech and it's pretty much spot on. I was getting 14.7's on gtech and 14.6's at Willowbank raceway.

Road has to be reasonably flat, but the ones I've tested the gtech on are far from perfect.

I would like to see some one have a few runs at a strip with the G-tech in place, then compare.

I know each set-up would be different, but if its with .10 each time, at least you can get an idea if a certain mod or lauch technique is working or not.

This has been done and the results were posted on this site a few months ago but I can't remember by whom ...

The results were within 1% accuracy if I remember correctly.
