He said the engine will just go flat and the engine light keeps coming on, but when you pull over and restart it its fine. It seems to have not as much punch as what it used to either, maybe it just needs a reflash? Also its been having a lot of stalling problems lately and rough idle. Any ideas what the prob is? It could be a sensor bugging out, dodgy wiring or loose connector, could be something much worse. I doubt the ECU itself is causing the car to go to limp mode. Mine is doing it whenever I give it more than 1/4 throttle, a error code is logged in the ECU. The complete electronic throttle mechanism has to be replaced, we are selling shedloads of them at the moment!
